We work hard at giving your puppy the very best start to life as possible. Part of the process has been beginning to properly socialize them. We use a modified version of BAB and Puppy Culture. The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are when most of their temperament is formed. That is why it is so important to socialize them well during this time by exposing them to many different experiences. A puppy that is well socialized during the first 16 weeks of life is more likely to grow into a relaxed, well behaved dog. The key to proper socialization is to introduce the puppy to as many different sights, sounds, situations and people as possible, while also avoiding exposure to Parvo. We purposely expose them to many of the potentially stressful things they may experience later in life to get them comfortable with different situations. A puppy is adaptable and much easier to acclimate to new situations than a dog.
In addition to daily exposure, play and cuddles, we have also done daily handling exercises with your puppy.
